After over 55 years ..... finally ...

Options
I have won a big prize on the Premium Bonds!

At last ......

Of course, it wasn't one of my bonds bought in 1958 - but one bought much, much, later.

If that didn't cheer me up enough, I collect my new car this afternoon ...... the suns just come out and it's a convertible, I hope I shall be smiling all afternoon and into the evening where I'm going to a concert.

Stick with it - it does come better as you get old and wrinkly.

May all who read this have a wonderful weekend!

    Congratulations.

I have just instructed to cash in all my premium bonds.

Although I was winning small amounts, it was not worth the interest it will cost my on my first stage release of my self build.

Thanks ..... highest I've won in one single month was about 2 years ago when I received a £100 and a £500!

Then I have months with nothing - funny how it goes like that!

    Keep smiling out there!!!

A very good afternoon to you MrRee. It's a pleasure to see you peruse this board again. I trust everything is sparkly after such news. The good news just doesn't stop giving these days. It's wonderful to feel alive and kicking in the homeowner class indeed.

    Good day to you sir.

    Well done!

It's great to get the £100, when usually you get sweet fa or at most the £25.

What sort of convertible did you buy? My great nephew's got one and it's amazing how one minute it's a car, and the next it's a big silver robot.

.. large gin & tonics all round...:)

Is having Mr Ree and a turnip in the same thread some kind of advanced irony?
