Built in 1698, Pentillie Castle is simply glorious. Far from being hotel-like, the bedrooms retain the air of luxurious guest rooms of a grand private residence - which, of course, is exactly what it is. The period rooms are spacious, fresh and bright with elegant antique furnishings and traditional English fabrics.
