Hello lovely DFWers. Half way through the month already!!
When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Today I will/have:
- do online banking
- pay some cash from clients into the bank before it gets spent
- send everyone to school/work with pack ups
- do storecupboard dinner
- not increase my debt in any way
- transfer some money out of paypal now I have finally become verified!
- be positive
Have a good day everyone xx

Hi hypno, hi all. Today, what's on the menu:
- taking a packed lunch to London with me.
- send my Amazon payment to an interest-bearing account for my mortgage overpayment, via online banking.
- probably got time to do one survey.
- I'm *still* struggling to find the address I need in France. Will be making a couple of phone calls today (at half a pence a minute, thats all, thanks Martin!) so that my rental payments can still get to my bank account.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
