Hi folks,
Please help with the last word in the Pick Me Up Crossword.
Clue is Uncomfortably Relevant (4,2,4)
and I have..... _ E _ R, _ O, _ O _ E
I was thinking along the lines of 'near to the bone' or 'close to home' but I'm not really happy with 'near to home'. If anybody has any other ideas please share

The last two words could possibly be "to core"? But haven't yet thought what the first one could be to make it a known phrase.
