Hello
I am heading to edinburgh to see The Lion King in a few weeks and looking for suggestions where to eat obviously the closer the bettering think!
Usually go to Slug and Lettuce in Omni centre or http://www.valvonacrolla.co.uk/deli-and-foodhalls/vincaffe-restaurant but fancy somewhere different
Have often passed this and thought it looks nice - has anyone been?

Last time I was in Edinburgh I went to The Filling Station in Rose Street and notice there is one at The Omni Centre - is this as good as Rose Street one?
Thanks in advance

Not been personally but a girl at work goes regularly, loves it!0 -
I went to Amarone for my work leaving doo and it was really nice! Quite reasonable price-wise too.0

Thanks, Amarone is booked hope its ok but if nearer the time we decide somewhere closer will likely end up at Omni centre!
In the meantime if anyone thinks if anywhere nice (anything really but italian is safe option!) that's really good - and nearby please say!0 -
I like Vittoria on Leith Walk but the memsahib prefers Guilliano's facing the Playhouse. I have to admit I've never had a bad meal in Guilliano's and have spent many happy mealtimes there.0

If you are looking for somewhere unusual try Pomegranate Restaurant. It's just opposite Playhouse and is lovely. Great food and great service.

Having a rethink as I'm off work ill just now which is affecting my asthma so thinking about just going to Omni centre so I don't have to rush if ended to get to playhouse
Will either be the old faithful slug and lettuce or filling station, will get to Amarone one day!0 -
