Does anyone rate and use BB cream, do you find it any better than foundation or tinted moisturiser?

I used the loreal one this summer but now I am back with foundation.
It's light to medium coverage (can be built up to a point), I stultify used moisturiser with it. It was enough for sunnier days and lasted reasonably okay with a touch of powder.0 -
I like it, more natural than foundation and doesn't settle in creases.0

You need the proper Asian ones, which you can buy easily online...not the Western knockoffs. The only Western ones that I've found to be any good are Clinique's and Bobbi Brown's. And I'm a beauty blogger, so I've tried a LOT.0

I use the Garnier BB cream and love it, whereas I've never been able to find a foundation that didn't look like an awful, false mask on my skin. I find that the BB cream gives enough coverage to give me confidence.
I'd love to try one of the Asian ones, but there seemed such a multitude of shades to choose from, I didn't know where to start! From Starrystarrynight to Starrystarrynight1 and now I'm back...don't have a clue how!0 -

In a recent list of bargain beauty products, Best BB Cream was Lidl at £1.99 for a 40ml tube. It has SPF15 and comes in Medium or Light.
Apparently it's surprisingly moisturising and good for more mature skin with a wonderfully natural colour.
I cut out the piece from the paper and will be off to buy some today to give it a try. Very MSE!0 -
There's a big thread here with lots of info on BB creams that you might find useful.
It really depends on what you want in terms of coverage, moisture, etc. Consistency wise BB creams tend to be thicker than tinted moisturiser but lighter than heavy coverage foundation, with additional skincare benefits such as SPF and anti aging.
So far I've only found one Western brand BB cream I'm happy with (Smashbox Camera Ready) and even so I feel it's more of a makeup than skincare product, whereas the Asian BB creams tend to be makeup + skincare all in one.0 -
I am 48, with an uneven skin tone, and I buy Missha BB cream from ebay. It comes from Singapore, and have used it for a while. It really evens out my very uneven skin tone without the feeling of foundation. It feels so natural. I am highly coloured, as in flush a lot and I buy number 23.0

Another vote here for the Garnier one. I've just switched to that from Boots Number 17, which was so heavy and cakey, but the Garnier one is lovely and light. I can't get on with foundation, it's always too heavy for my liking, and I don't like too much make up anyway so BB cream with some powder suits me fine.0

After years of expensive make up I've just started using Rimmel BB cream and I love it:j
I use it on top of their primer and then use cheek tint on top.....skin has never looked so glowing and healthy0
