Click-offers and surveys

Hi there,
I am new to this forum.
I have been trying to find competitions where there are no major catches; and pleased that this place is full of ones that are easy entry. The ones I would really like to enter, are ones that offer decent cash or voucher prizes; many are on the web yet are offer-click orientated and sweepstakes in surveys that often cut out half way through.
I just wanted to ask whether anyone on this forum has ever gone ahead and entered into an offer-click competition for cash and won (without) having to sign up to something where you must pay out for a subscription fee?. I often see the comps with click-offer etc that have generous shopping vouchers, have clicked away and all the free subscription offers have flooded my email box (have) also fulfilled these spam-like offers and yet not won anything. Do you only win anything if you change your energy supplier for example; or pay for a consultation of some kind?.
As with many of the survey sites I have registered, I keep getting cut off mid way despite meeting the criteria for participation, and nothing to do with a slow internet connection either. What are other peoples experiences of click-offer comps and surveys as it will better inform me of whether they are worth the effort in the long-term?.

My view is that if its not on MSE Comps don't bother with it.Most of the legitimate comps etc are here & the rest are not worth the bother.
Just my view.
Have a read of this for more info.
Pm sent to glad re a move
ETA: Just to be clear the above is aimed at new compers & non posters.Obviously a comp has to be posted to MSE at some point & prior to that was still as valid.Spammy sites etc are usually soon flagged up on here & we are lucky in that posters do not post them up very often.0 -
Thanks for your honesty and quick response!
Definitely have to agree with you - 'too good to be true' comps should always alert us to the dangers of their existence on the web, and spending a lot of time on these things when I could be writing essays on subjects and getting paid for that instead?! - my writing is not the best and why I don't do this already sad to say.
Thanks for the info you gave - very helpful indeed and have sent you a 'thanks' thingy.0
