Also....I was thinking earlier. I recall a few years ago I brought the Elle McPherson set which was OOTW I remember picking it up and asking the SA about it and Im sure it was still in 342.....am I remembering it incorrectly or was this the case?[/QUOTE]
The last few years this has stopped. All Star Gifts drop out of The 342.0 -

yeah it would make a lovely gift in the case. To be honest I think the value of the boots range has decreased these past few years. All of the big sets now have 1 or 2 items less than they used to at yet stay the same price. Don't get my wrong when they are OOTW as a whole they are still good price wise but I remember getting the big S7G set 3 years ago and it contained better and more items worth a lot more than the current one this year.
Last year I decided against the S&G star gift, bought a selection of soap and glory products on 342 and for a little more than the offer price had all items I would use, and no wastage.0 -

My daughter is desperate for it, but I think it's a mite overpriced at £35! I'm sure they had a 17 set last year (or maybe this will replace the Fearne offer - teen-type make up)?
I was in boots yesterday and one of the staff ( a man in a suit who looked more like a pharmacist) was telling the sales assistants what the up coming gifts where. Next week is seventeen complete collection (he actually pointed to the gift as he said it). He also knew what the following weeks gift was too. But I have forgotten it but I remember him saying it was a really good one, that had never been in the offer before. I had a look on their website in the hope it would remind me. I know this sounds silly but it was a bit like Laura Ashley (because he mentioned that was coming up first) so thought it might begin with an L but now I have looked on line I'm thinking it could have been Elizabeth Arden (the A being the link) but I don't know which gift out the range it would be. Might be worth quizzing the staff as some of them obviously know in advance.0 -

I wonder if he was the area manager. I went on the computer today to see what the gift for next week was and it hadn't been updated yet. Probably not Elizabeth Arden as they have their own separate gifts but like you I can't think of another L or A link. Maybe Champneys - that's usually early on.
I am surprised the Jenny Packham range isn't going to be a star gift as normally the new range is. Was rather hoping for that.0 -

If only ....
I think it means spend £20 and you can get the order delivered to the store of your choice for free, which is quite handy if your journey to a bigger store isn't easy or involves costs like parking or fares.
I collect mine from our little local prescription branch which doesn't stock much else and I have found it a very handy and also speedy service. I can park outside which is a bonus.“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
I thought it sounded too good to be true lol0

There is an Elizabeth Arden set coming on ootw but it's classed as a premium beauty ootw not star gift ( Christmas ), I think it's the bare minerals one first though. I can't see them online but the EA one is an 8 hr set, they will run along side the Christmas, fragrance and electrical ootw0 -

At half price? Or with a percentage off? Will this be more like the No7 perfect and protect gift sets offers they have had in recent years?
The one thing I did notice in the catalogue this year was the high number of premium gifts and high priced gift sets. Normally there seems to be more of a range of the mid priced ones. Took some serious negotiating of the website to find the ones I might consider buying.0
