Hi all,
I'll be going to my first instore Christmas event next wednesday, I have some mailings etc but is it worth using them at all? I dont expect to spend much more than about £52, so I'll get the £12 in points. I understand you can't double up if you have a double points voucher, and no extra points from mailings are added, so the maximum you can get on the christmas event is 1200 points, right?
One other thing - in my christmas event shop, I need to buy some perfume. One bottle is £20, and I have a mailing for £5 off when you spend £30 on perfume, so I was considering buying a bottle for £10, then using the £5 off voucher. However, does that mean that I have to spend at least £55 in total, to then use the £5 off voucher and then get my £12 in points?0 -

Yes. The maximum amount you can get is any £12 of points for every £50 spend. No other points from any vouchers can be used, apart from the voucher which is randomly printed off at the tills for an extra £5 of points at the next Christmas Event.
And yes, you will have to spend at least £55 then get the £5 for Fragrance taken off to be able to get your £12 of points.
I work for Boots and it can be confusing working out all the different offers and vouchers, but if you can work it all out and be smart about it you can get amazing deals and plenty of points.
I have almost £400 in Advantage Card points now! :jBoots Employee, Advantage Points Hoarder & General Savvy Shopper :T

Hi, I work for Boots and all stores should have the Benefit (Best of Benefit) sets in for that offer of the week, regardless of whether they stock Benefit products.
If the store you shop in is a small store, such as one of our local pharmacy stores, and doesn't stock any gift sets, they can still order the item for you.
Through the till we can access Boots.com and order any item, and normally as long as the order is placed before 2pm it will arrive in store for collection the next day. Go in to any Boots store, armed with the item number of the item you wish to buy, tell the staff member you want to place a Boots.com order, and give them the item number. (Although they should be able to do an item search if you don't have the number, as long as they have the name of the item.)
You pay at the time of ordering, you can also use your advantage card and get any points, and you can also use any relevant vouchers on the order... And you can use a gift card to part pay, or pay for the item in full. Or even your points, like you said.
On your receipt it will have your name and order number, and the delivery date. We will take your phone number to contact you, and send you a text message on the day to let you know it has arrived in store.
You have 14 days once the item has arrived, to come in to your store and collect. Just go to a till with the receipt, show the member of staff your order number and tell them the name under which you ordered, and they will go and get it for you. Your invoice will be in the box they give you.
Easiest way to get what you're after, and there's no charge for ordering or having it delivered to store.

Also, another thing to remember everyone!
Until Sunday 25th it's also TRIPLE POINTS so if there's anything you need before the next Points Event, this weekend is the time to buy!
I bought the Sanctuary Star Gift yesterday after work, and also a bottle of the Boss Nuit Femme (Offer of the Week Fragrance)... Got a bargain as after discount the Sanctuary set was £16 instead of £19 and the Boss Nuit was £26 instead of £30.
My Mum loves Sanctuary and it's her birthday today so the gift set is for her, and the perfume is for me. I'm a bit of a collector. It's a very classy, feminine smelling fragrance. Really nice. An extremely good bargain.
I got plenty of points because of the Triple Points weekender, plus it was my birthday this month so I get Double Points all month. So I got my birthday points as well as my triple points. YAY!
Very pleased! Boots Employee, Advantage Points Hoarder & General Savvy Shopper :T

Intrigued by tge Sensationail & Best of Benefit.. definitely adding them to my Christmas list! Xx0

The Sensationail sets were £45 with Asda and Sainsburys earlier this year. Along with polishes reduced to £5. Good alternatives are on Ebay called Bluesky I think - the glittery ones are wow!!! The kits are fab though for those that get their nails done.0
