The mens ted baker set with the rucksack? I hope so as OH has already said he fancies it! My thought was that'll be half price in a few weeks!

It was weird last yr as the soap and glory although the last went on sale thefri 14th dec - as I was having a panic I was going to Lapland on the Wed 19th due back 23rd - had visions of sending my father in, (the product can be infront of his eyes with offer of the week and he will still ask a sales assistant where is the offer), but it was in on the 14th - when I went on the Fri the store was quiet the SA I spoke to said people would assume it be the fri after (21st0 but come the Sat when its been in papers and TV adverts be a mad rush. xx

They usually have 3 special event days in the months leading to Xmas when they usually give out the extra £5 coupon ( if you spend at least £50 ) for even more points at the next event ie £50 spend gets £17 of points.
If you have a couple of events nearby you can use them at the next one - eg in Glasgow . Sauchiehall St boots have their special event the day before Buchanan Galleries so if you were planning on spending £100 then best do £50 at Sauchiehall St & get £12 of points & your extra coupon for next event then the next day do the second £50 at Buchanan a Galleries getting £17 of points and another coupon for next event. That way a month later at next event if you are buying more you get an extra £5.

Also :

If you look at the price tags of the Xmas gifts the ones with no green xmas pressie on them are the ones that will be the gift of the week !
They all have the symbol in the catalogue but in the shop they don't.
And the S&G is always the last gift of the week and will always have a full week before xmas .

yes sanctuary should be on this list! was just a quick run through completely forgot about that one!

The ted baker had 2 did it not? the make up set then the body wash big set. I have looked at the mens gifts and the prices of them would fall within the half price range so its possible one of the mens sets would be on star offer

yeah it was weird how it was done. I remember the thread on it last year and there was discussions on what would happen. I don't think the big S&G set was well received last year, my sotre normally sells out within 48 hours but I went in about 5 days after the offer had started and there was loads of them left. I personally had brought the big sets the 2 previous years but didn't last year as I weren't too keen on the products in it. This year is slightly better, I will need to work out the prices of items I would use and see if its cheaper to get it when on offer or just get on their own, which I think is on 342 anyway. Do you remember the price of the big set was it £25 or £27?



Also I got my leaflet through yesterday my big points event is on 31st October. Last year was funny went with people from work we all went in and scattered like mice, got what we needed and left all within 30 mins!

Its ok, I did have a contingency plan! Bought a lot of Sactuary in the 75% for pressies but would have kept one back as my "tree" pressie from my 95 year old gran. She gives me the money for my family and we get a better bargain if I use my stash from the sale :T

I got the S&G set last year... then noticed the facial wash had urea in! Yuck.... Not used any since and do not think I can morally give it away.. ooh have some posh toiletries they are fully of p*ss.
