The Boots Christmas weekly Star gift thread

Hello, as a novice to buying the star gift of the week at boots I was wondering how people find out what is going to be coming up in future weeks.

I brought the Champneys set for my sister in law this week as she is a big fan and for £24 it is such a lovely gift. I'm considering the Sanctuary gift set that someone mentioned was coming up for my mum as I would like to buy her something pampering. However she isn't into make up and only has a shower so don't really want to buy her anything with bubble bath in it. Thank you xx

You are in the right place for OOTW, us MSErs are well knowledged on the subject!


The Sanctuary set will most definitely be on soon as posted afew above me the links give details. Now Boots usually do the same kind of stuff on offer although this year they haven shaken it up abit. We have insiders here who are great at giving us the heads up on OOTW in advance. Now with some of the popular ones they can and do sell out very quickly so if there are any you want I recommend buying as soon as you can, they run every Friday to the following Thursday.


We still have 5 weeks left and going by the insider knowledge and guessing Im saying...

Hi I call in my local small village boots chemist and if you ask them they usually have a flyer in an envelope for the following Fridays star gift. I was lucky this Saturday they gave me the next 2weeks.
The soap and glory girl-o-whirl this coming Friday and the 22 nov is the Sanctuary spa ultimate glow pamper tin both £19.

Hi all, went and had a look today, the Joules bag does have a three for two printed label so won't be in the Star Gift offer, otherwise they would have to change all the pre printed tags. Booo. Still, good for my bank balance (unless I buy it anyway!!!).

Just to add to the debate on what will be OOTW. I have the boots catalogue here and this weeks champneys set OOTW does have a green parcel sticker on it, as does the 17 make up collection and the ted baker make up set that was OOTW last week. They are 342 but not when on OOTW if that makes sense?

I'm also at boots as a Christmas temp

I suppose what I'm trying to say is that just because an item has a 342 sticker might not mean its excluded from OOTW. Here's hoping for the joules bag as its lovely

But it doesn't have it on the actual item in store. Well the one's I was looking at yesterday didn't. The catalogue has everything with a Green parcel on them as they are al 3 for 2, but once they go on OOTW you can't get 3 for 2 on them, so they have to put them on in the catalogue, otherwise some people who are not on here or have too much money than sense, would not buy them at full price, and just hold off until they go on offer............. like us lol

I work at Boots, and I told staff y'all were talking about a benefit one, and the assistant manager and two other people spent like 20 minutes investigating and got mad at me, haha. I really hope it is one though, that would be so fabulous! However, that's an awful lot of make-up sets.

Edit: We had Joules bags last year, and there were tons left and we kept getting sent more during post-Christmas sales. I remember clearing loads of end isles making Joules displays with the bags and these weird breakfast sets - so whilst it won't be better than half price you'll definitely be able to bag one at half price!

Ted Baker vanity case doesn't have a green parcel I noticed yesterday, so I guess that will be one of them. Last year S&G ran from 14th and No7 from 21st so I assume it will be the same this year.
