I hope i'm not being thick here....
I think she means your GPs office.
the thing is, I know this ,I have the sme thing with a blasted lightfitting. I bought this lightfitting ( as you do ) and I had nowhere to put it. Its a vintage one, and I paid 100 quid and I got him right down from 165. Thing is Im never gonna use it. i resent geting a tenner for it. but a tenner is better than nothing. I recommend you take it with you to the bootsale and see what you get offered. Right now anything is better than nothing, and as you say you get lumbered with ebay fees for things that dont sell.. Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

This Ive come to know...

haha - doctors is so obvious now
i'm such a dumb !!!.
I think i will take it just incase. MKy sis done a boot sale and took along a bathroom cabinet from next that she hadn't used. Someone spotted it - needed it to finish their own bathroom off but as it was out of stock, couldn't get it from the shop. They knew how much my sis paid for it so didn't mind paying extra as they knew what it was worth.
I'm hoping this happens with the buggy.
If i take my wedding dress i was going to ask for £100 but don't mind going down to £75. I also have bridemaids dresses which cost £125 each so was going to ask for £70 in the hope of getting £40 for them each - what do you think my chancecs are - do people buy things like that at bootsales? I'm new to them and don't know what to expectOfficial DFW nerd no 551 - proud to be dealing with my debts

honestly? I think you are pricing too high for a bootsale. Its a good place to get rid of cr9p thats fairly low value IMHO, altohugh I think the buggy will sell, whether youll get all you want for it is something else.
Have you thought about trying to sell them on the confetti wedding forum? Ive read quite a few people off here have done that?
In terms of car booting, my philiopsphy is haggle them up a bit, but take whatever you can. Anything is better than nothing and the rain might come down next minute and take the rest of your days earnings any second!
Good luck, I love doing car boots. Id do one myself but I dont have a car :rotfl::beer: Well aint funny how its the little things in life that mean the most? Not where you live, the car you drive or the price tag on your clothes.

I have paid £75 for a pushchair at a car boot sale because I knew what it cost new and it was worth it. If I were you I would find the details of the pushchair for sale online and print it off and put with the pushchair at the bootsale.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0

Well i'm exhausted
Went to car boot this morning. Got up at 4:30am, got there are 5am and people were trying to look before we even got the car unloaded.
Ended up Ie sold almost everything and made £95 profit :j :j :j
I took the buggy and someone wanted to buy it for £65 but silly me forgot to take the footmuff. I think if i hadn't said that to her - she would have bought it regardless.
I took my wedding dress too and someone wanted to buy it for £80 but there was no way it would have fitted her.
The dearest item went for £6 so i can't believe how much i actually made.
The only down side is that it is going to cover bak charges so i won't actually see the benefit off it againt my os debt
I'm going to do another one next month - keeping the same float as before.
I used my spare change and £2 coin jars as my float and i had £37.73 in my spare change (50p and under) and £28 in my £2 jar. I am well chuffed. all that in just 5 weeks.
just shows how much !!!!!! i through away without realising.
At least i know for next time what will sell best so i'll be prepared.
