Npower changes to T&C's re credit checking
Just received a letter and booklet from NPower detailing how their T&C's have changed, particularly with regard to the use of credit reference agencies.
I'd never really looked at the original T&C's before so am unsure as to how much it has changed.
It reads as if they are going to credit check all customers from now on. Would that just be when you apply to transfer to them from another supplier or could it be when you change tariff or could it just be random during your current contract?
Also, what would the perceive as adverse? I have a fairly high amount of debt (which is going down slowly) but not a single late payment. Would that be ok to continue on a monthly direct debit tariff?

Should imagine if you take out a new supply, or if you fall in debt or suspect fraudDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
