loan

I might have posted this already...new and confused.!!
My husband died 2 years ago and his estate is still being dealt with by our solicitor!
Evidently my husband took out a loan several yaers ago and this was insured at the time.It seems now that the loan company are saying that the insurance is invalid as my husband did not declare a medical condition.Despite the solicitors, over the past 2 years asking for disclosure of nature of the "undeclared",condition they refuse to say what this is.What is my position?I have had no direct contact from the loan company.Any help or advise would be most appreciated. The amount of the oustanding loan is £15k. Must this be paid from any estate monies?? Fairlady

I would certainly be on the phone to your solicitors telling them to get their finger out!
2 Years is a monstrous amount of time to sort out an estate however complicated.

Remember you are paying for the solicitors so tell them to sort it out pronto!
