Putting Vinegar in ketchup to make it last longer

Does anyone do this when you can't get the last drops of ketchup out of the bottle or is it just me? I love the taste of vinegar in ketchup.

I don't like either vinegar or ketchup but I do this at my DDs as the boys can do a bottle a week easily.A drop in there when its half full thins it down a bit so it flows better from the bottle as well.:):) rather than getting great dollops of it

M'husband startled me having the odd sip from the vinegar bottle.
This habit has been passed onto the lads. It's disconcerting.
(I have a stashed bottle I cook with.)
The amount of sauce they get through means I have two big bottles in reach and the industrial 10l tanks from the Chinese supermarket.
  • My mum did this, as did her mum ... I do it because I thought it was normal!!
