Evening All,
New to the forum so "Hi" and hope you're all having a good weekend.
Having just received my annual mortgage statement and in the usual dismay I wanted find out what would happen if I overpaid my mortgage, how much I would save and how quickly I would save it! ;-)
Long story short is one of the things I wanted to look at was what happened if I increase by payments by a % each year on top of over paying monthly. I found my way here and to various other places but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for, so the geek in me decided to make my own.
Having made my own I thought I would share a screen shot with you all and send it to anyone who is interested. Comments/suggestions are also welcome.
As standard you use the spreadsheet at your own risk and it doesn't constitute advice etc etc.
Hope you like the look of it, feel free to PM me with an email if you'd like me to email you a copy.
Thanks, have a good evening and hope you enjoyed my first post.
