It's a long shot but I had my eyebrows tattooed a couple months ago and was told I even have it in writing I could have a free top up if the colour was to light ect. I had left several messages through text and voicemail about making an appointment due to them being to light and one is shorter than the other. After 5 weeks of trying I finally made an appointment with this lady, I live 30
Miles away from her and spent 45 minute drive to turn up at her address and no one was home I rang both numbers left messages and no reply, I find this very unprofessional and it has wasted a lot of my time plus my eye brows don't look that nice due to the length and colour of them both, i paid £150 for her services and she won't contact me. Am I able to make a claim through the small claims courts for the amount I've paid and the amounts of money spent on petrol to get to her and back as she has not fulfilled her side of the agreement that was signed when I had my first sitting, I also have receipt for what I've paid

Certainly - but you claim must be reasonable. You chose to drive, but anything more than the cost via public transport can be challenged. She may say she had never agreed to the appointment - can you prove it?
Next, your claim would be to get you what you originally paid for - however, if she's got no assets, you may not get this or your court costs back - but the satisfaction of doing something is sometimes worthwhile.0 -
Yes I have text messages proving the date and time: I've finally recived a text saying she had me booking in for next Monday and it was her day off despite her saying the days and time she can do and even confirming it with me the following day after booking. She has offered to make another date for my top up but it took me nearly 6 weeks of trying for her to get back to me to make an appointment with her. I've booked else where with swone else and I want my money back as I find this very unprofessional0

No - you have to let them rectify any issue first. If you want to cut your loss and go with someone else, that is your right, but you lose any right of redress against the original contractor.
If it came to court, she only has to say she offered to rectify any issues and you refused and went elsewhere, your claim would fail.0 -
I will wait until the claim has been made. She is only saying she will sort my problem out as I've threatend her with the small
Claims and I feel very messed about and feel she will mess me about again if I do book another appointment. She has told me I'm mr aloud a refund. As it's taken me so long to book an appointment with her and having the prof what day and time for her to then tell me she has me booked in another date surely I will be able to make a claim0
