Hi I have 5 apple trees in the garden and would like to purchase an apple press and crusher.
Can anyone recommend any good ones please?

Depending on how big your trees are You could make your own press and use a Supershred 2000 http://www.amazon.com/Super-Shred-Vegetable-Slicer-Rigamonti/dp/B001SCV74C to pulp the apples; it is much more effective than a hand scratter.
You need to freeze or pasteurise the juice or make cider.
EDIT: if the apples are good keepers it is better to store them in their skins than juice them.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
