Proof of deposit

Hi all
Sorry if this has been covered before but I hadn't seen it.
If I am asked to provide proof of deposit to a mortgage lender, do they just require bank statements showing the deposit itself or does this need to include all the associated fees such as stamp duty, solicitors fees etc?
I'm a bit confused and have savings spread over a few accounts and an ISA so am not sure how many statements to provide the mortgage lender?
Thanks in advance for any help.

We just had to prove to our mortgage broker where our deposit was coming from and the associated savings account showing the full amount.
Have never had to show where our fees are coming from (and we now have a full mortgage offer).0 -

Thanks all.
Some of the monies I am using towards stamp duty are currently held in a share save scheme via work which I was not intending on dis investing until nearer completion time.
Would an up to date statement of the value together with evidence of regular contributions be sufficient for this account?
The rest of the money is in standard ISA/Savings accounts so not a problem.0 -
That should suffice. You'll have statements on your sharesave, and you may also be able to print an up to date balance on line.So many glitches, so little time...0

You need a gifted deposit letter from the donor.
