FIFA 14 v PES 14

With the release of the hotly anticipated FIFA 14 on Friday and the competitor Pro-Evolution Soccer (PES) 14 earlier this month, if you've bought either of them they're probably well played by now!

Both games have the positive and negative points but we want to know what comes out on top for you?

Help anyone who may be considering buying yet but hasn't taken the plunge by voting in our poll and leaving your verdict.

Fifa 14 without a doubt. PES doesn't come close for me and it hasn't done for quite a while. Back in 06 and 07 PES was up there but FIFA have just done so much more. If anybody is concidering getting one of them then I would have to say FIFA. Brilliant for online, brilliant for offline play.

Have played both on the PC. Fifa has a couple of bugs and some of the gameplay needs fixed but overall it's still way ahead.

PES isn't a bad game though and I wouldn't be upset if I had to play it instead of Fifa.

I think that PES made the bigger leap forward this year compared to last year, however it is still some way behind. That said, I realise it is probably because I am used to Fifa.. I think PES feels very sluggish in comparison and most the things I do seem to be down to luck rather than skill.

Having played both of them I can say FIFA is without a doubt the best one to buy. The overall experience is better and while its not a major deal to some people, the graphics and player likeness is ridiculous on PES compared to FIFA.
Gameplay is better and online element on FIFA is amazing too.
