damp and mould HELP!

I have been smelling damp in my bedroom for a while but can't see any damp on walls. What I have found however is mould on the cuffs of my leather jacket on the bedroom door. I checked the whole room and found it on an old tv at one side of the room and on suitcases at the other side.
How can I remove it all without spreading the spores even further. Not sure what to use so would appreciate any advice.

I would give a good scrub with an anti-bacterial spray and make sure it is really dry.
Is your bedroom ventilated enough? I would want to find out the cause of the mould.0 -
Sounds like mildew, which thrives in warmish dampish conditions; when I stayed with my brother in Bermuda, if I left my leather sandals out overnight, they'd grown a grey-green coating by the morning! I would suggest trying to dry your bedroom out a bit, somehow, and create a constant air-flow, if possible; it thrives in still air. FWIW, it's pretty harmless to your health & should simply brush off if it isn't left for any great length of time, but it will cause lasting stains to textiles if not removed.Angie - GC Feb 26 £335.07.07/£400: 2025 Fashion on the Ration Challenge: 40/68: (Money's just a substitute for time & talent...)0

Thanks for the advice. Checked the window vents they were shut so have opened them. Going to have a good clean of the room tomorrow and will open the windows whenever I am in the flat as I am in a ground floor one so will only do it when in.Declutter 2005. 32/20250
