Any Pastrami fans?

It's nice and I often have a sarnie with it in. The American's love the stuff.

  • We are fans here - My husband has it in his work rolls today - with English mustard. Yummy.

Love pastrami after trying a sandwich in a deli in New york, sadly the price of pastrami in the uk rules out creating a sandwich that looks like they do in NYC.

I love the Aldi pastrami - its fab on good wholemeal bread (would have loved to have said 'pastrami on rye', like Chris Cagney in Cagney and Lacey, but sadly I hate rye bread!).

Love it but it never gets as far as a sandwhich - I eat it straight from the pack.

  • I bought a pack in Aldi at the weekend. It wasn't that expensive, I don't think. However, I ate two slices on it's way to my sandwich. Some of it made it, onto potato and rosemary bread, with some horseradish sauce (also from Aldi). Really nice.
