Missed Payments -

Hi,
Having recently realised that there are 3 missed payments on credit check file and while I'm still fighting to get them removed from credit check file, I have few questions.
There are new developments coming up in my area and mostly they will be around Spring 2014. Can I get mortgage with these missed payments under help to buy scheme?
How long does one need to wait for a lender to make a decision while they ignore these missed payments? Esp the high street lenders.
Is it wise to wait till the things ease down and apply for mortgage or find a lender with higher interest rate and get into property ladder?
I am looking for properties around 250,000 and having 15% deposit. But if I am looking for a new development with 10% deposit and rest for Help to Buy scheme I feel i could afford it. But wondering with the recent developments in my credit file I'm feeling so low in confidence and worried if I can ever buy one.
Regards,
KK

Not enough detail to answer and even if the detail was there, the answer is going to be to suggest you get whole market or independent mortgage advice.
You'll sit down with someone and tell them all your circumstances and they'll suggest the most likely lender for you and try to arrange an agreement in principle.
The overall quality of your case determines if you get a mortgage. Good enough and the late/missed payments may not be an automatic decline. A weak case and they might.

Many thanks for your replies.
I have approached to 4 Mortgage advisors with my credit file. I got different answers from different advisors. During this whole exercise I felt Mortgage Advisors are exploiting the situation of no mistake of mine of the missed payments. I am fighting to get them removed.
I am happy to answer any questions if I haven't given full details to assist you to give me a honest advice/help to get me onto property ladder.
