    The prize:
The winner and a guest will stay for three nights, on a B&B basis, in a Cosy room at Lime Wood, near Lyndhurst, Hampshire — the top-rated country property in our Ultimate 100 British Hotels. This boutique Regency hotel in the heart of the New Forest National Park, surrounded by several acres of garden, is the perfect base for a relaxing winter break.

Inside, there’s a series of classically designed sitting rooms, 27 open fireplaces and a 22,000 sq ft spa, set over three floors; one treatment each for the winners is included in the prize. So, too, is one dinner (excluding wine) at Hartnett Holder & Co, the hotel’s restaurant, which opened in February and brings together the talents of top chefs Angela Hartnett and Luke Holder.

The prize must be taken in January, February or March 2014, subject to availability and excluding public holidays.
