Wedding Insurance

Hi all
We have received our quote from venue, which I subsequently asked for a reduction on (very scarey to do!), they have now sent me an amended quote, not a lot off, but managed to get a little off. We are happy with the quote, so are planning to go ahead and pay our deposit ! Obviously before I hand any money over to anyone, we need wedding insurance. Can anyone recommend the best place to go for wedding insurance? Our wedding is in 2015, if that makes a difference insurance wise?
Thank you in advance

I did mine through debenhams on quidco as they have £15 cashback so the policy didn't end up costing much at all.0

This may be a silly question, but can you get wedding insurance before you know which reception venue you're going for?SPC '21 #0750

Ideally you shouls arrange wedding insurance before you put down any deposits....once the deposit is down some insurance companies will not insure that part of your day.
It really also depends what amount of cover you want/need for the day but a google of "wedding insurance" will bring up the main players!
Check that the policy covers you for what you need...its also worth remembering if you already have home insurance, your home insurance company may extend or up your existing cover for 30 days around your wedding to give you extra for storing wedding presents etc..however this should only be in addition to any wedding insurance you take out and by no means will it cover all eventualities of your day!frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

BACS payment needed, which I'm not keen on the idea of, but I presume it must be safe if you've done itSPC '21 #0750 -
Which bit of a BACS payment are you not keen on....its a really safe an easy way to make payment...infact most employers use it to pay wages etc....
The way most things are paid through banks are either by BACS or faster payments and theres probably no safer or easier indeed maybe quicker way.frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!

Oh okay then
It's probably just fear of the unknown really because I've never made a BACS payment online.
I feel reassured now
