Mortgage Lenders Who give mortgage when CCJ is on file.

    With a 5-10% deposit nobody.
    At 15% there are a couple of lenders who would at the very least look at it. None are on the high street. Also brokers on here cant really name lenders as it could be seen as advice/leading, you should speak to a broker.

    s there a register of brokers so I don't use a con artist?

    All brokers are regulated, so you shouldnt get a con artist but if you did there are various ports of call to get your money back.

    My suggestion would be to avoid estate agent based brokers and find a local independent or whole of market broker.

    You can use websites such as:
    freeindex.co.uk (this has an area for reviews - although take those with a pinch of salt as they could be friends/family).
    Unbiased.co.uk
    Or just google
