I got my reservation today for the date and time I wanted it, good stuff and I'm quite excited, here's a copy of the email:

Thank you for your reservation.

I am delighted to confirm that you have successfully booked to try our new
summer menu at the time you have requested.

Up to 3 courses per person will be complimentary, any extras such as drinks
and wine will be payable on the evening. All prices include VAT and a 10%
discretionary service charge will be added to your bill.

Please let me know if you have any queries otherwise we look forward to
welcoming you to Room.

I just got the same email as Kirsty, I have looked at the website and it looks like a very nice place, will have to have a day out in Liverpool.

It got me thinking though, why are they giving meals away, is there a catch?

I just spoke to Kirsty (the lady who seems to be organising it all) and she called it a 'competition' and said that she hoped I enjoyed the meals and to perhaps give them some feedback on the food. Perhaps it's to get info and assess the menu. Either way don't forget the drinks are extra and there's a 10% service charge but as the meals are free this must just be 10% on the drinks surely.
