currys pc world stop selli

I have been to two stores of the now combined currys pc world, as I have a gift card for pc world . I want to buy pc games but a salesman told us that they are no longer stocking games as a company. This particular branch did not have any games for sale but I've been online and reserved a game which they apparently have in Stock. Strange. I think it's bad they are going to stop games because as said, i have a gift card and do not want anything else in their store. I think it's a bad move the 2 companies merging because pc world seems to have turned into just a small department amongst the household goods currys sells. What are your thoughts on the merger? Can anyone actually confirm they are stopping the sale of games? It's such a shame if true. Thanks all sorry for bad title, phone keyboard!
