My fridge smells - how to make it smell better

Not sure where to post this so I'm trying here and on the in the home board. Does anyone have any tips on what I should put in my fridge to make it smell nice. It smells really bad at the moment when I open the door. It fills the air and lingers for quite some time. Its a combination of being away, of Camembert, sour milk, garlic, chopped onions and a few things that have gone off lol! Thanks a lot.

squeeze half a lemon out, fill it with salt and keep it in the fridge, it will absorb the odours.Opinion on everything, knowledge of nothing.0

If the half-lemon doesn't work a small bowl filled with bicarb will0

This may be a bit left-field, somewhat wacky, but try throwing out the off/rotten items and cleaning the fridge?0

Oh no, don't be silly, just ignore any mould/fungus growth etc and stick an anti smelly thing in, people don't clean fridges out nowadays ;-) nobody has time, they are all to busy signing on/working for nothing to appease the jobcentre or trying to eak out peanuts of income by speed reading posts on here............... :rotfl:Blackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0 -
