got loads, in fact more than any of the edible stuff that I grew on purpose - and they look like they should be really tasty in an apricot sort of way - but t'internet tells me they are "bland, woolly and disappointing",
has anyone eaten them? and can you bulk out chutney or an apple pie or something to make them less disappointing?

Yes I have some growing over a wall at the end of my road and have eaten a few this week - they are delicious! Here dead we lie because we did not choose
To live and shame the land from which we sprung.
Life, to be sure, is nothing much to lose,
But young men think it is,
And we were young.

I ate them raw - just ripped open the skin and sucked out the seeds as I walked along,Here dead we lie because we did not choose

OK - no idea what sort of passion flower (it was here when we moved in 11 years ago) but it's the very common one:
I've tried them and the seeds are delicious - the fleshy husk - not! just like a passion fruit you buy. so shall be scooping them out and eating them - yum!
thanks all.:AA/give up smoking (done)0
