Go to http://www.facebook.com/me/favourites and click the pen (edit) icon in the top right corner. Click edit privacy and you will have the options to make some or all of your likes private.

    Cheers,mymble

I've tweaked it a bit but I cannot see a bit that mentions "likes" on the setting.Sorry to be dim but FB is a bit new for me.

Hmm, for me it comes up with all my likes split into categories (ie, "websites" "sport teams" "music" etc) and lets me choose my privacy setting for each category. Try following this: https://www.facebook.com/help/100522066706974 And no you're not being dim! Facebook is impossible. And it's forever changing just to annoy and confuse people!

I used to be really worried about my friends seeing all my likes and 'I just entered this competition' posts. However, I haven't had anyone moan at me.....a few have entered the competition too.

So I will continue to enter these competitions until someone moans at me haha. x

I know this is an old post but I have been having the same thoughts - I realised I had my privacy setting to friends only - so I assume that this means that companies/pages I've liked, shared posts etc won't be aware of this unless I change the setting to public?

I may have been wasting a lot of time with those 'like and comment on this post' comps and may explain why I haven't won anything :-)
Won so far in 2017: ipad mini :j
