Has Barclays Ticket competition closed???

Whenever I am online, I always have one tab open and linked to the Barclays Ticket Office competition, playing the 'spin-the-code' game whenever I think about it, while I'm doing other stuff on another tab. Over the years I've been incredibly lucky with winning pair of tickets to football games, mainly for 'my' team, MCFC!

Went on the website last night to get presented by a screen saying Barclays Ticket office is closed. Thought this might be a one-off glitch, but it's the same this morning - with the screen exhorting me to enter my email details if I want to be included in future opportunities to win Barclays tickets etc.

So, is this just me? Or has Barclays really pulled the plug on this competition, and are the printed slips from ATMs no longer showing potential win codes on the back?

Promotion Period: The promotion commences in the UK at 5:45pm 14 May 2012 British Summer Time (BST) and closes at 23.59.59 on 26th September 2013. Entries received outside of this time will be invalid.

Closes at the scheduled final whistle on the last day of the 2013/2014 Barclays Premier League season ("Promotion Period"
(Which is why it's frustrating that it kept going to Game Over, despite them being in the OP !)

Something's obviously happened quite suddenly and they've pulled the comp and changed the T&Cs to show it ending yesterday

Remember the banner on the comp page used to say something along the lines of "365 days a year, 24 hours a day, every 90 minutes."

Gutted as, like you, I played A LOT while I was comping & I usually managed a pair each month, sometimes a couple.
Not deleting it from my favourites straight away tho', just in case...

Thanks all for your feedback. Glad that it isn't just me but sad that the competition is over. Used to look forward to my trips to different football grounds - still got a couple in the pipeline so hope those future tickets arrive okay. Yes, Grannybiker, I remember the headline "365 days a year, 24 hours a day, every 90 minutes" and that's another reason I was so surprised to see it ended. Odd to end it so suddenly in the middle of the football season?

Anyway, I've submitted my email address, as invited by the new screen, so we'll see what happens about that. Thanks all.

Aww gutted!! I'd never ever won on this (although admittedly only play a couple of times a day) but was still holding out hope!

A shame you will never have the opportunity now, cagsd. I've really enjoyed my past wins - the latest was the Man City v. Man United derby match last weekend. Wow, what a super game to win - lucky me! Best to go out on a 'high', I suppose. :rotfl:

Ivw won it 12 times!.my 4 for wba v palace came last week.I've got 4 more for wba v norwich still to come.I'm gutted its ended!

On the back of each entry slip it clearly says:
Win a pair of Barclays Premier League match tickets every 90 minutes, every day, until the end of the 2013/2014 season.
To the best of my knowledge this season is NOT over yet...Barclays are conning us once again, perhaps?
