is this going to be ok to eat? now i burnt it in a slow cooker

Options
last night i started cooking dinner in slow cooker as i did not want to waste the stewing steak i had, switched slow cooker off just before 12 and back on when i woke this morning 8.30

now im starting to worry that it would have gone funny in the night, it smelt ok and smells good now.

really i should have kept slow cooker on low all night but as its 6 years old i worry about doing things like that

do we risk eating it or should i just switch off sc and bin (which i dont want to do but if i have to i will)

CONFESSION TIME at 2pm i realised that i had books that needed to go back to the library so out we went got home at 7.30 (as we fed ducks went to park wandered around town)

and i had burnt it in the slow cooker, am annoyed as how the heck can something be burnt in one of these.

the liquid had all dried up must have added too many lentils, unburnt bits (in centre of slowcooker) tasted nice though.
