  • I used to save for birthdays Xmas and holidays all in same account and it got v messy. I opened up two extra ones with my bank now keep it all separate

    Thanks everyone - we've made some progress on the business front and have now two separate accounts for Tax/Vat and one for Accountant and other bits. DH seems quite relieved seeing it broken down like that and it should mean the big tax and vat bills are covered throughout the year.
    Now I need to sit down and do the same for our own bits and pieces. I'm just slightly worried there won't be enough once I've worked out how much needs to be put aside each month. (Not that it is any different from having to deal with it when it crops up)... Tbc... :/
