I think I'll stay away from 72p chicken kiev

I agree, I think I will stick to homemade ones as at least i know that they are 100% chicken breast.

    Good price though, Thanks OP.

Can I ask that MSE please STOP changing the titles of some of these regular Lidl posts , so that they no longer contain the dates of the weekend offers .

The regular style of titling ( for example : " Half price offers at Lidl : 5 & 6th October" ) that has been adopted by the original posters is FAR BETTER for picking them out quickly from the full list of other threads.

I agree, I was looking for the half price offers for this weekend and did not realise this was the thread!

Why would you keep away from a kiev but not keep away from other cuts of chicken in a supermarket?

£1.44 for about 200g of meat - £7.20 per kg. Not much difference in price than any other chicken.

I think we should all mark this thread as Expired as there is no date on it now :D

Most supermarket Kievs seem to be made of reformed chicken, which is pretty grim. Aldi used to do one that wasn't, but sadly that changed many years ago.
