Hello All,
My sister got a job contract through today, it had her role on it and beside the the role equated to Associate level - what exactly does this level mean I presemue it's entry level?

different firms have different levels, so unless she has the organisational structure you will never know.
in some places associates are bottom level, in some they are mid way up, as I say, its firm and industry specific.0 -
Yes it is largely meaningless without knowing the company. Job titles are also largely meaninglesa0

In FE Colleges, Associate staff are sessional/casual, non-established staff who are called on in a similar way that supply teachers are. They usually earn more per hour but less stable work and they have to pay their own tax/NI etc.0
