Help needed

I have been in touch tonight with barclaycard. I asked about Full & Final settlement. Goal posts moved they want 9000.
Apparently they are going to be requesting the full amount on Friday for 2 of the accounts.
My wages have gone down massively this month due to a change in job i have told them can only pay £1 of each of the 3 accounts.
I can offer £5500 but they wont accept.
My question is what will happen on Friday?
Any advice welcomed how can i word an email to say i can offer but it is off a family member and only available if all accounts closed. If not it will be a token payment.

I write with reference to the money which you are claiming on the above account.

I can confirm that I am unable to offer to pay the money which I owe in full. My wages have dramatically decreased due to a change in job I have attached acopy of my SOA . However, a family member will loan me £5500 on the one condition all 3 accounts are closed and I want to offer this as an ex-gratia payment in full and final settlement of the account. This offer is made on the clear understanding that, if accepted, neither you nor any associate company will take any other action to enforce or pursue this debt in any way whatsoever and that I will be released from any liability.

I also request that, if accepted, you will make an entry on a credit reference agency file relating to the above account as having been paid and the account closed.

Payment can be made within 7 days of receiving your written agreement of this offer and method of payment.

I look forward to receiving your reply.

that reads ok and you can add something:

'If this is not acceptable I would be willing to [continue to] pay a token payment of 1 pound (I don't have a pound sign!) per month for the foreseeable future until such a time as my personal circumstances allow for me to set up a suitable repayment plan'.

but I'm sure someone can advise better than me!

Letter looks fine with the suggested change.

They can request away, don't mean they will get it.

Are these defaulted yet?

Have they sent default notices?

They tend to mark late payments, make a few threats, say pay by date of full amount due etc. they will then default it, ask you to pay in full, then pay something, then probably sell it to a DCA who will likely accept what you offer.

If accounts are pre April 2007, send a CCA request for each one if you haven't already.
