Rubber Gloves

Can anyone recommend decent rubber gloves for washing up and general household cleaning?

I used to use Marigold which are great, but have got so expensive. I recently tried Spontex Everyday Protect, but they don't seem hard wearing at all, have gone through three pairs very quickly.

I buy Tesco cheapest ones they are less than £1 for two pairs they probably last me a week each pair but at about 56p you can't really complain.

I used to do the same, baulking at paying over £2.00 for a pair of Marigolds. But in Wilko they have Marigolds at £1.40 a pair so I "invested" and they're now on their 3rd month and still going :j
By buying the value ones at 46p for 2 pairs, with each pair lasting about a week, I'd have spent £2.76 so far. So I'd advise Marigolds every time :D

How do you wear out a pair of rubber gloves in a week??!!

I stick to Marigolds (when they are on offer), mainly as they come in small sizes, but I wash the car, hand scrub the floors, bath guinea pigs with teeth tugging at them and they never seem to wear out!

  • I buy the blue "Daisy" brand from Tesco, 3 pairs for £1.49. They last much longer than the value ones, they are thicker.

    Dermalux gloves from Lakeland

Not cheap but usually on 3for2

I buy these for work and they last months ( I work in a pretty busy resturaunt where dishes are hand washed)

They do tend to dry hard but soften once in warm water
