Coucil tax confusion

in Cutting tax
I have been looking to see if my coucil tax banding is wrong and I am getting a little confused as Wales has been rebanded can we still appeal/would it be worth it? I have checked the banding in my street and found that we are all C bar one E the C's include a detached home, semis and my mid link. A similar home, mid link, across the street sold for 89,000 in Q2 2004 when I checked the calculators it worked out that the 1991 price was £33,222 which put us in band A in the table for England. Am I making errors here? I dont know if we can claim anyway so I would like some advice/help.

Ray. Look at the 'council tax discussion' thread. Dozens of people on there are in wrong bands and trying for a rebanding.
There's loads of good information/advice and you'll get some help over on that thread.
Good luck. Maisie .. original poster council tax thread.0 -
