Official MoneySavingExpert insert: The Body Shop has confirmed the Love Your Body card (usually £5) is free for students till Fri 25 Oct at selected stores only. Unfortunately, it's not able to give us a list of selected stores but outlets and franchises are excluded. What's more, the stores that are taking part will run the promo for two weeks only, but it can be any two weeks up till Fri 25 Oct. I saw a "student week -20%off" poster infront of the Cambridge City Center Body Shop, so I stopped in to inquire about the LYB card. The shop assistants looked at each other and seemed confused. So, I pulled up their Promos terms and conditions on my phone, which talks about the Student week 20% discount and the free Love Your Body card.

They said they weren't participating. Fair enough, but considering there were no other customers around, they didn't have to give me those super annoyed looks.

what a pain in our store there was`a long line of students signing up and the staff were quickly signing them up and giving out the cards - most got the free hand-cream too!!

I don't think this is nationwide, my DD asked about it. Seems each store is doing some sort of student deal, but it varies.

Please can someone explain how it works. I filled in the form and gave to the shop assistant then he gave me the card. I came home and checked the card and he put my birthday day and month which were wrong. Do you have to go on your birthday to their shop with that card and they give you £5 off any product you buy?

hi yes on your birthday take the card to the shop and you can have a product worth £5 free or probably pay the extra.

Also gives a discount instore and online worth getting. think you can change your birth date online
