As per the title really!
Anyone here done it? If so, what sort of story was it? What sort of publication did you sell it to? And how much did you get?
Just out of curiosity really!

Not done it myself but I have a friend that does this quite regularly. She is a bit of an off the wall character though and always has something unusual to tell (She lives as a "fairy", she brought her ferret over from New Zealand where they are illegal and it was a mission to get clearance), she married a guy 12 years younger than her etc etc.
I think she tended to go for things like REAL LIFE and that sort of ilk. And would on average, get about £500 per article?0 -
That's interesting. Was it those sort of things that she used for the stories she sold?0

It's not the despair, Laura. I can take the despair. It's the hope I can't stand. ~ Brian Stimpson, Clockwise0

Go to Google and type in: sell your story. There are quite a few options. I know someone who did this for a womans mag and got £500.0
