Buying a car on my credit card

Back to the car versus pram thing. We could fit a britax travel system in the boot of our micra (T reg older style micra) but did have to take the parcel shelf out. We then got a Maclaren Techno buggy for our second baby which you can use from birth and this fits in the boot easily with the parcel shelf in. Just take the car when you choose your pram to check. Don't bother with a big pram. After 3-6 months EVERYBODY buys a buggy when they realise how impractical big prams are!!Grocery challenge July £250

Think you must readdress your thinking, flick on that light bulb...
As for farmers and animals, did you miss the recent expose on the major branded supermarkets on Panorama and the disgusting and dirty habits even the majors can be guilty of ? Do not buy on brand and price alone, thats what marketing men and women are there to make sure we do !Competition wins. 2 festival camping tickets worth 310, case of grants whisky 74.

I had a 3dr micra before I had kids, but my friend had 3 and I used to go shopping with them on my days off etc. The pushchair did used to fit, with the parcel shelf out, admittedly it took up all the boot space. Your 'nappy' bag, the bag with all baby's bits and pieces in can go on the back seat at the other side of baby. Strollers as said, fold up a lot smaller, I used mine from my children being 3 months old.0

Hi
In the spirit of things - e.g. helping one another I spoke to Andy - my DF and he advised DO NOT buy a new car, he says if want private msg and he'll talk you through how u can get an old one and get the work done cheaply to make it run for years - i should say he's a mechanic and my little clio - whose head went - costing 1200 in a garage - he repaired for 200!!! So it's worth looking at he says he'd love to help if he can?
Thanks
Pippa

I thought you were a little harsh there. .
Well thanks for the Thanks..
Sorry if it sounded harsh, but if people are serious about their situation, they simply cannot afford to be choosy i'm afraid.
Needs must.
If they want to continue with their normal life style, that is fine by me, but don't come on here seeking approval, because simply it ain't going to work.

No problem
The point I was trying to make though is that Aldi & Netto don't seem to have the same consistency between stores as the larger chains & they do seem to have also let the quality of the suppliers slip as well. I actually threw a lot of the stuff from my last Aldi shop out because it was so poor & I'm not exactly fussy - I've eaten in military barracks that had been condemned & you knew the food was really bad when the cockroaches refused to join you at the table
Its a bit of a false economy shopping there when you throw stuff out.0 -
Do you know, i've never seen a cockroach at our table.....maybe this is why!SunderlandBlackCat wrote: »you knew the food was really bad when the cockroaches refused to join you at the table

Well you must be very unlucky, I have used Aldi for years, never, ever had anything sub-standard.
I have had some real duff stuff from Tesco's in my time, and more recently from Asda.
You obviously didn't see the TV Programme about the way the big chains re-package out of date stuff.
Yuk.:rolleyes:0
