            Thanks guys!!:D
dianadors - I will be checking out my local lidl and aldi this weekend!:D
MRSMCAWBER - Unfortunately ive tried falafel and its not really my thing. I think its because I had some and it made me feel ill and now the smell makes me feel queasy. To be honest im not sure im that keen on the texture of them and my OH doesnt like them. I dont want to waste them though!
twinkle162 - ive never relisted, how does it work? I do give anything not worth selling to the charity shops, ive had a grand clear out and sorted into bootfair, ebay and charity shops. Given a few things to other places like playgroups and animal shelters too.:A
Thanks for the thanks. I heart thanks!
On your 'My Ebay' page, go the 'unsold' category - and hit relist. You should do it today, because its 10p listing day.
I've never really had much luck at car boot sales, although it all depends on what type of stuff you have to sell. 0 0

            ill do that, thanks twinkle!
I made £100 over 2 car boots recently but its the same people each week so going to give it a break until the summer holidays now. People can be really picky about things and it can be annoying but its a bit of a bonding thing for me and my mum so quite enjoyable really!0

            Hi Boo81
Are there any particular areas that you feel you want some help with?
For example, I know I'm okay with the meal planning in our house, and the shopping budget sometimes goes awry but I don't feel I usually need help with that side of things.. maybe there are area you feel you're really fine with so don't need help with.
And then there maybe area that you feel you could do with some other opinions on (like mine is DEFINATELY how to organise my time and household chores so I'm going to look very soon for the Moggins Household Diary thread that I keep losing ) )
Hope that makes sense, but if you've got some particular areas that you feel you could do with a boost on, why not post us a list?
Financially other things to check out might be Quidco. We've not bought anything through there for a little while but we've got around £200 of 'free money' for buying things through their links that we were going to buy online anyway (for us the main 'earners' we home insurance through MoreThan, who were the cheapest we found anyway, and cashback for my OH changing hi mobile provider to 3 so he's now on a tariff that costs him less each month and he gets more free minutes and texts than he needs...)April 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500

I am assuming that you are registered on your local freecycle?
Camping was mentioned, and locally (to me) there is loads of camping equipment etc being offered at the moment. Also, if you do car boots, some people offer boxes of stuff 'for carboot sales'. no idea what's inthose boxes though, but it could be worth a try, sort through what is worth selling and charity shop the rest ??0

I am registered with freecycle but to be honest im a bit green about it. If I put up an offered notice would they post back on the forum if they replied or would I get an email.
Ive just relisted 2 items on ebay:D
Shortie - I feel ive got my shopping down to a tee and suits me pretty well. I think maybe I miss out on offers or ideas as I can be a bit stuck in my ways. I can always do with household tips as im not the best. A quickie while we are on the subject, I use the ecoballs to do my washing but because I dont use fabric conditioner they clothes dont smell so nice. I want to spray them afterwards with essential oils mixed with water maybe but now I cant find a stupid spray bottle or they cost a fortune. Any ideas?0

Hi Boo!Try a hairdresser wholesalers as they sell empty spray bottles which cost very little. HTH0

Tesco do a large bottle of water to spay on linen which smells nice and lasts ages. I wouldnt normally use any thing like that but I find that really useful and you can refill it. I would use lavender water or rose water (from chemists) not oils as they may not mix and may stain the clothes.
As for other tips. 1. Do not buy any clothes for a long time (see how long you can last) and then not because you WANT them but because you need them.
 2. Meal plan. There are some good ideas on https://www.fool.co.uk on the LBYM boad.
 3. Go to the supermarket just before they are due to close. You get some real bargains and them meal plan round them.
 4. Do without treats for a while and see what you do for free in your area.
Go for walks, free concerts, days out. and dont buy any treats unless you cant live without them.0
