Anyway sent OH out to buy some, he phones to say they are going through at 3 for 31p !!!!!
Basically they are discounting on the original 3 for 2 PLUS the discount on 3 for £2 :rotfl:

I have never tried one of these 'glitches' as I have often wondered what people do if it doesn't work at their local store? I have never wanted to take that risk and have to end up having to pay 'proper' price  There is no way of telling it the glitch works until you are presented with the total amount after checkout, what would people do if it didn't work? just pay the correct amount? or make up some excuse why they didn't want them anymore?
Good spot OP and I wish I could try it out, but just couldn't justify spending the correct amount if the glitch didn't work.0 -

with Tesco it really is a case of try it and see.
With this one, if you're in any doubt, try buying 3 of the right item. If the price glitch works, then you know you are safe buying more in multiples of 3.
If it doesn't work, just say to the cashier that you thought they were a different price, and you don't want them. Its not difficult, and as this glitch is working in the Extra stores its not like you're going to see the same cashier every time you try a glitch.

Working in superstore (BD23), definitely for
Maryland Big & Chunky Hazelnut Crunch 200g
Fox's Milk Chocolate Chunk 180g
but not working for me for
Fox's Extremely Milk Chocolate 175g - SEL said 200g but packets were labelled 175g
Also works in multiples of 3, of same variety.
I used the self-scan tills, no problems.
No SEL stating '3 for £2' but don't be put off by that.
