Hi
I have been paying a debt which I had with an Egg card through this company for over 7 years at about an average of £10 a week but have no idea how much I have left to pay, I contacted them via email last year requesting the balance and a record of all payments to this account but as yet have had no reply. I have no wish to contact them by phone. I believe the original debt was about £3000, shoulds I cease payments or continue any advice would be gratefully received.... thanks

Thanks for the reply, would this show up if I have overpaid and if I have could I claim back my money with interest because as I have said I have received no statement from them in at least the last 5 years0

CCA request should also come with statement of account. They should be sending you them anyhow, and definitely on request.
CCA request is good as its old so if they don't have it then no chance of a CCJ. If they do have it, needs to be perfect to get a CCJ.
Best way to get a response from them is to write and say you are not paying until you receive CCA and a statement showing all transactions. Stop paying obviously.
They have no incentive to give you what you need while they are being paid.
I speak from experience of them myself.:beer:0
