14.6.07 what small dfw thing will you do/have you done today?

Hello lovely DFWers.

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free.

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging the washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.

Today I will/have:

- check online banking
- make storecupboard dinner
- not increase my debt any further
- be positive

That is not much really, but by not increasing my debt any further today, I am still on the DFW trail!

Have a good day everyone x

    Morning All.

Not a long list for me today but everylittle counts

    -piggy clicks/comps
    -updating & reconciling bank ac's
    -doing loads of horrible paperwork.
  • Well I was hoping for a NSD, but the OH's car has just broken down, so we'll see... Oh, and need to buy in some wine for the weekend as IL's are coming down.

I counted up my change collection last night and I have enough to cash in £11, so I'll be popping to the Post Office to put that directly into my account.

    - check online banking (done)
    - not increase my debt any further (hmmm)
    - be positive (yay!)
    - sign up to a male escort agency (only joking!!)

Hi hypno, hi all. Mine are a bit different today:
    - have finally emailed SFX, a science fiction magazine, listing all the mags of theirs I have on offer. Don't know when it will appear in their classifieds, but at least I've done it!
    - off for the afternoon for some free CPD (Continuing Professional Development). Getting a lift there and back (tho I'll pay [cash] for that) and the first hour is a free lunch! Who said there's no such thing as.......
