Had a good start to week yesterday. Took lunch in, walked to get some exercise and then hopped on tube further up.
Today not so good, I slept in! Whoops. I also feel a first sign of a cold creeping in...

So this morning I've sorted out a few admin things in relation to my account and spending diary.
I've transferred over my last payment of JSA to my general savings, which are going to be my back up income for next month. I have £238 saved up, mainly from all the benefits I have received from the government this month whilst unemployed!
I've ensured there is enough money to pay my direct debits, including the full balance on my general spend credit card (paying for my new glasses this month).
Yesterday I was good I took my lunch into work, but I did get dinner out (nandos) and then took it home. But because I had to wait so long, without even complaining, they gave me a free voucher for the same meal I had! That's Friday's lunch sorted out then (was going to treat myself Friday anyway)
I also have got 2 items listed on ebay. One has 7 watchers and ends on Sunday. They have no bids at the minute, but they're on at a relatively high price, so not expecting many bids. I put them up on a free listings day. I will prepare more items for the next free listing day next week.0 -
So one thing on my list is getting on the way. Next rung on the ladder
I've got a day job tomorrow on the next step of the ladder - Researcher! Woop! A researcher job that I can put on my CV! Yay!0 -
I've really enjoyed reading your Diary, how did you set it up, I'm thinking that I might find writing one really helpful xxBarclay card £4,024/£0 0%interest
HMRC £3,456/£0 0% interest
Blackhorse £2763/£0 0% interest
HMRC2 £397/£0 0% interest
Credit card £1400/£0 29% interest

I just calculated what I wanted to achieve and wrote it down. Simple enough!
Bit of an update:
I'm now unemployed again! But I've a few potential jobs lined up, one there's potential for promotion!
I've also done a balance transfer for my natwest card which was about to expire. So another 12 months interest free! Yay!
I have 1k in savings for my holiday
Nothing on the boyfriend front yet though...0
