Hi folks,
Sensitive question here, and if I get enough people challenging I will delete the thread.
I've 2 main stores nearby (I wont name them but both have loyalty schemes). Now, I've noticed after shopping with one the offers/money off has dried up, whereas the other one is increasing incentives to get me to switch.
Now my question is whether there are resources/places where people discuss such things (ie optimal time to switch to maximise £x off next shop)? Better if you pm me directly this info rather than in the forum, as I get the feeling people don't want to share this info out!
I would love it if there was such a place, of course the retailers are likely to be equally as interested to avoid people 'gaming' loyalty....:j
thanks in advance,
e.

Hmm having read some of the stickies this thread may not be in the spirit of MSE. Happy to take feedback and remove if so...0

Its what its all about I think....MSE and the coupons. Getting more for your money. I often shop in T for a while when I have good coupons then switch to Sainsb when its more lucrative. Its not secret to the stores I wouldn't have thought, works in thier favour when I go back and spend in their store.0

Don't think of them as loyalty cards but rather as reward cards and use them accordingly. Use a second card in partners name at same address and alternate use and you will see your offers increase. If you going to do a large shop a small 2 or 3 item purchase first will often generate extra coupons or double points.0
