IKEA - catalogue change?

We're looking to complete our bedroom with another PAX wardrobe and matching chest of drawers - does anybody know if they will still be doing these after July 2007 which is when this year's catalogue runs out?

It might be worth keeping an eye on their other country websites as I think the new cat comes out slightly earlier in the US and various other places.

PAX is one of Ikea's core ranges so is unlikely to be replaced, like the ubiquitous Billy bookcase, however the shades of the various finishes do change from year to year so my advise would be to go sooner rather than later.

While the PAX wardrobe CARCASSES are almost certain to continue Ikea have changed the range of SURFACE FINISHES (eg white/'teak'/'beech') from time so you should consider that.

Similarly even if they still sell a named/sized CHEST OF DRAWERS they have had their designs varied a bit as they refined their manufacturing process and/or got customer feedback - eg my Ikea chest of drawer is still sold in the same size/configuration/finish but the drawer fronts are a noticably different design (better as there's no unfinished edge that catches on clothes like there is on mine) and hence a second one would be similar but not matching.

Thanks all. I took the tip about going ot other country's websites and was very diverted by the pooping cow game they have on ikea.de........!
