Hello, i hope someone can give some advice. We recently purchased and completed on a property we paid in full for the home no mortgage, we are going to do it up and have found that we could do with some extra finance in order to do this. We moved in a month ago. We paid £500000 and we would like to borrow £50000 over 10 years when i enquired at nat west i was told you have to own the home for 6 months before they would lend. Could anyone give us some advice. Thank you. Sorry if i have made any errors but i am new to the site.

Hi,
There are 5-6 lenders that may consider this, but will depend upon the rest of your case.
Worthwhile having a chat with a broker, as otherwise this could be a minefield..
